Controls

• Movement keys will displayed at the bottom of the screen during gameplay.
• Shoot using the left mouse button.

About the game

Rick's Ranch was originally developed for HackSussex Gamejam (2023), where it won in the categories "best unconventional controls" and "best overall".  It was created using Unity, and is available here: https://msmendham.itch.io/ricks-ranch-hsgamejam.

This "remastered" version was re-created from scratch (using Godot) for two main reasons:

1. To fix all the issues found in the original version and better represent the original idea behind the game. 
2. To learn more about game development and experiment using a different game engine.

While still far from perfect, I hope you'll enjoy playing it!
